BTS V Expresses Discomfort Over Adoption of KakaoTalk Messages with Min Hee-jin in Court

V revealed his feelings about the fact that his conversation with Min Hee-jin was used in court.

On February 20, V, a member of BTS, posted a brief message on his SNS account. He added his stance along with a screenshot of an article stating that messages exchanged with former Ador CEO Min Hee-jin were adopted as legal evidence in the trial between Min Hee-jin and HYBE.

V stated, "Since she was my acquaintance, it was part of a private daily conversation that I shared with empathy," and added, "I have no intention of taking sides at all." He also expressed his regret, saying, "However, I find it very surprising that the conversation was submitted as evidence without my consent."

The statement made by V, submitted as evidence by Min Hee-jin's side, was in response to Min Hee-jin's comment about ongoing plagiarism discussions, where V replied, "Eh... I know. I also looked at it and thought, 'Oh, this is similar...'" This conversation was cited in the first trial ruling of the shareholder contract lawsuit between HYBE and Min Hee-jin.
