Recently, he took on the role of the deposed Dan Jong Lee Hong-wi in the blockbuster 〈The King's Affection〉, captivating audiences with his delicate and profound acting, and has emerged as the star of the 'Dan Jong Illness'.

〈The King's Affection〉 has recorded a cumulative audience of over 13.467 million as of the previous day, surpassing records of 〈Veteran〉 (2015·13.41 million), 〈12.12: THE DAY〉 (2023·13.12 million), and 〈The Host〉 (2006·13.01 million), ranking 8th in the all-time box office rankings.
