The remake drama of 〈Stove League〉 produced in Japan will be available for viewers in Korea. SBS announced on the 17th that it will officially air the 〈Stove League Japanese Version〉 starting March 29th on its terrestrial channel.

This project is a collaborative effort between Studio S, a drama studio under SBS, and the Japanese video production company NTT Docomo Studio&Live. It is expected to once again prove the global competitiveness of the original IP, which caused a social phenomenon with a peak rating of 20.8% during its airing in 2019.

The role of the new general manager, originally played by Namgoong Min, will be taken on by Kamenashi Kazuya, a member of the popular Japanese group KAT-TUN and a sports caster. The role of the operations team leader, played by Park Eun-bin, will be portrayed by Nagahama Neru, an actress from Keyakizaka46, while the role of the team president, played by Oh Jung-se, will be taken by the renowned Japanese actor Nomura Mansai, creating a solid lineup.

The remake also features distinctive elements. The role of Im Min-jong, a player from Korea, will be played by Cha Jun-ho from the group DRIPPIN, and Ha Do-kwon, who made a strong impression in the original, will make a special appearance, delighting fans from both Korea and Japan.

The 〈Stove League Japanese Version〉 will premiere on SBS at 11:05 PM on March 29th, and will continue to air one episode each week thereafter.
