Timothée Chalamet & Zendaya Return... 'Dune: Part 3' Set for December Release

The long-awaited sci-fi blockbuster 'Dune: Part 3' is confirmed to be released this December.

Warner Bros. Korea announced the release news on the 18th, showcasing the first trailer and 9 character posters that offer a glimpse into the grand finale of the series.

'Dune: Part 3' depicts the monumental war that Paul (Timothée Chalamet), who has inherited absolute power, faces as he chooses an inescapable destiny. This installment is set 17 years after the previous film 'Dune: Part 2', narrating the internal struggles Paul endures at the center of conflicts surrounding politics, religion, and power as he ascends to the throne of the universe emperor.

The released first trailer begins with a poignant flashback of Paul and Chani (Zendaya), contrasting with Paul's current stern demeanor as Muad'Dib 17 years later, heightening the tension. In particular, the scene where Paul, sporting a short haircut, declares, "I'm not afraid of dying," hints at the solemn fate he faces.

'Dune: Part 3' sees the return of existing members including Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, and Anya Taylor-Joy. Additionally, the reappearance of Duncan (Jason Momoa), who met his end in the first film, and the dramatic transformation of Robert Pattinson as a new villain is sure to pique fans' curiosity.

The grand narrative will culminate in 'Dune: Part 3', which will be available in theaters this December.
