
Netflix and BTS have unveiled details about 'BTS Comeback Live: Arirang,' which has generated excitement worldwide.
On March 19th, Netflix held a press conference for 'BTS: The Live' at CineCube Gwanghwamun located in Jongno, Seoul. Attendees included Brandon Riegg, Netflix VP of Non-Fiction Series and Sports, Garrett English, Executive Producer, Kim Hyun-jung, VP of Big Hit Music, and Yu Dong-joo, Head of HYBE Music Group APAC region, who discussed the upcoming 'BTS Comeback Live: Arirang' scheduled for March 21st.

Brandon Riegg, the VP, stated, "Netflix's goal is to entertain the world, and we are proud to share this experience with countless viewers around the globe by partnering with BTS." He explained that for this live event, Netflix collaborates closely with partners and invests in local infrastructure. He mentioned that recently Netflix has actively introduced live events and faces varied challenges according to regional and situational differences, stating that 'BTS: The Live' presents a "challenge of fulfilling this scale in the heart of Seoul and satisfying fans, while confidently proceeding with the expertise gained from previous live experiences."

Executive Producer Garrett English opened up about the crucial aspect of "how to enjoy the harmony of modern and traditional." He explained that the team's goal is to respectfully embody BTS's vision and the historical space in a harmonious form, adding, "We worked to emphasize historical spaces like Gwanghwamun and Gyeongbokgung while integrating BTS's modern sensibility, and transforming it into a dynamic production."
'BTS Comeback Live: Arirang' is a live event on Netflix taking place on March 21st to commemorate the release of BTS's new song 'Arirang', marking their complete group return after about four years. Against the backdrop of historical sites from Gyeongbokgung to Gwanghwamun, BTS is set to present a stage to approximately 100,000 on-site fans and Netflix viewers worldwide.
