Actors Park Min-young, Yuk Sung-jae, and Ko Soo are teaming up in SBS’s new drama ‘Nine to Six’. Viewers are already excited about this office-themed story that will be brought to life by Korea’s top romance craftsmen, delivering real-life, relatable emotion.

Park Min-young transforms into Kang Yi-ji, a deputy manager of the legal team who’s a workaholic… and continues the legacy of the unstoppable ‘office roco’ myth

SBS’s new drama ‘Nine to Six’ (directed by Lee Hyung-min and Oh Song-hee, written by Choi Ji-Oh) is an office romance featuring Kang Yi-ji (played by Park Min-young), a rational deputy manager of the legal team who proves herself through work, the warm-hearted intern Han Sun-woo (played by Yuk Sung-jae), and the flawless executive director Park Hyun-tae (played by Ko Soo).

Park Min-young will play Kang Yi-ji, deputy manager of the legal team at Chronic Motors. She’s a cold workaholic who believes love is nothing more than a hormonal effect, but between two men, she ends up experiencing an unexpected shift in feelings. Through Why Secretary Kim, Marry My Husband, and more, Park Min-young has already solidified her status as a hit-making card for ‘office roco.’ Now, all eyes are on what kind of distinctive character she will build this time.

Yuk Sung-jae as the ideal younger man, Han Sun-woo… and Ko Soo returning to romance with Park Hyun-tae—his first return in 15 years

Yuk Sung-jae takes on the role of Han Sun-woo, a rookie intern who combines sharp situational judgment with diligence. He will showcase the perfect template of a ‘dreamy younger man’ with both a warm personality and a strong sense of responsibility. In particular, building on the solid acting skills proven through the previous work Why Secretary Kim, he’s expected to add more mature romance tension, raising viewers’ excitement levels.

And Ko Soo’s joining marks the final flourish. Playing executive director Park Hyun-tae, who is dispatched to Chronic Motors Korea, Ko Soo portrays a cold yet fair leader who evaluates team members based on nothing but skill. Notably, Ko Soo’s appearance in a romance drama is about 15 years after his last one, and expectations are running high for a brand-new executive director character shaped by his deep, intense gaze.

Scheduled to air in the second half of 2026… a ‘golden lineup’ with both visuals and acting skills

The production team said, “The synergy of three actors, each well-known as romance masters, will raise the completion level of the drama.” They added, “It will be a work that captures both the bittersweet realities of working life and a sweet romance at the same time.”

With Park Min-young, Yuk Sung-jae, and Ko Soo meeting—offering the perfect trio from visuals to acting prowess—SBS’s ‘Nine to Six’, which has been drawing attention, is set to air in the second half of 2026.
