〈The Man Who Lives with the King〉, currently drawing major attention at the box office, will hold a special screening event.
〈The Man Who Lives with the King〉 is a story about a deposed young king, Lee Hong-wi (Park Ji-hoon), and the village head, Um Heung-do (Yoo Hae-jin), who comes to serve him. Released on February 4, the film has already surpassed a total of 14.84 million viewers, rising to No. 3 in Korean box-office history. In appreciation, 〈The Man Who Lives with the King〉 announced that it will hold a “Valuebom” accessible screening event from April 6 to April 20.
In a video released on March 24, Director Jang Hang-jun and the lead actors Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Hae-jin, Ji-tae Yoo, Jeon Mi-do, and Kim Min explained the “Valuebom” accessible screening event. The event features a screening format that offers audio description and Korean-language captions, enhancing accessibility so that not only people with visual or hearing impairments, but also those without disabilities, can enjoy the film in an equal setting. With 〈The Man Who Lives with the King〉 selected as the April “Valuebom” screening title, it will be shown sequentially from Monday, April 6, through Monday, April 20, across a total of 77 theaters in 17 regions nationwide, including Seoul, Gangwon, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Daejeon, Gwangju, Busan, Ulsan, and Jeju.
