Beyond the stellar performance in front of the camera, actress Nana now dives into the emotional arc of the drama 〈Climax〉 with a heartrending voice.
According to ENA’s Monday-Tuesday drama 〈Climax〉, the OST for 〈Climax〉—“Black Star (Black Star)”—in which Nana participated directly in the singing—will be released today (31st) at 6:00 p.m. through various music platforms.
This OST participation is even more special because it connects to the backstory of “Jung-won,” the character Nana plays in the drama. As the complex and subtle feelings toward the character’s hidden past and Ha Ji-won begin to gradually come to the surface in the recently aired episodes, this song captures the texture of that inner world completely. A sentimental ballad, “Black Star,” blends Nana’s distinct, persuasive vocal tone with emotionally resonant piano melodies, reflecting the life journey that Jung-won has walked as well as the thoughts she can’t easily bring herself to say out loud.
Nana previously proved her capabilities as an artist by taking part in the work on all tracks through her first solo album “Seventh Heaven 16,” released last September. Following the dramatic acting transformations she showed in productions such as 〈Mask Girl〉, she is expected to once again leave an unforgettable impression with her uniquely distinctive presence that moves seamlessly between actress and singer.
“Black Star” will be released today (31st) at 6:00 p.m.
