Kim Hee-ae x No Sang-hyun’s Mysterious Romance, and Historical Dramas Among JTBC’s 2026 Lineup Featuring An Bo-hyun x Lee Sung-min…

On the 30th, JTBC announced its 2026 drama lineup.

The lineup kicks off with 〈Mojamusa〉 (hereafter 〈Mojamusa〉) set to premiere on April 18. This work, bringing together screenwriter Park Hae-young of 〈My Liberation Diary〉 and director Cha Young-hoon of 〈When the Camellia Blooms〉, follows the inner world of a person tormented by envy and jealousy among talented friends, capturing it with a warm gaze. Koo Kyo-hwan, known for his distinctive aura, and Go Yoon-jung, who has firmly established herself as a trendsetter, star in it, making it one of the most anticipated dramas of the first half.

The lineup that follows is just as dazzling. 〈New Recruit Kang Ho-jang〉, with writer Kim Soon-ok—renowned for powerful storytelling—participating as a creator, is based on the web novel by writer San Kyung of 〈The Youngest Son of a Chaebol〉, with Lee Jun-young and Son Hyun-joo appearing. It depicts the strange second chapter of a large corporate chairman’s life. 〈Apartment〉, drawing attention as the comeback project of actor Ji Sung, portrays the thrilling acts of Kang Hae-gang, a former mobster who takes down corruption within the apartment complex. Alongside Ha Yoon-kyung, Park Byung-eun, and Moon So-ri, it promises an exhilarating progression.

Attempts with a new format also stand out. 〈Final Table〉, starring Ahn Hyo-seop, is a drama that borrows the structure of a cooking survival show, and is set to deliver a fresh kind of fun that blends entertainment and drama. In addition, 〈Gold Digger〉, featuring Kim Hee-ae and No Sang-hyun teaming up, presents a mystery romance highlighting an intense psychological battle, based on the original British BBC series.

The year-end finale will be 〈The Divine Bead〉, a historical drama set on an overwhelming scale. Director Jeong Dae-yoon of 〈The Youngest Son of a Chaebol〉 and writer Jeong Hyeon-min of 〈Green Blossom〉 joined hands, and with ultra-premium casting such as An Bo-hyun, Lee Sung-min, and Soo-hyeon, it plans to portray in grand fashion the struggle of heroes who rush into the battlefield in search of a national defense relic.
