'Xdinary Heroes', Looking ahead to the rise of a limitless 'global rock star' is on the horizon

Xdinary Heroes, a JYP act, completely breaks the mold of a concept-style band. Their appearance at 'Lollapalooza Chicago' and the overwhelming performance they proved at the Muse Korea concert opening stage represent their 'musical authenticity'. Their endless voyage (Voyage) toward the 'white-hair band' has finally entered a true trajectory that pierces the hearts of music fans around the world.

The title track 'Voyager' draws inspiration from 'Voyager 1.' It carries their unwavering determination to keep going on the journey, even after reaching the point where you can’t turn back. Leader Gunil said, “In the album title 'Dead and,' we used 'And'—not 'End'—to highlight the wordplay.” He added that they also included a hopeful message: “The end can become a new beginning.”

They’re establishing themselves as a band through nonstop genre challenges and live performances. They even earned praise from label senior DAY6 for building a distinct sound—handling everything from lyrical rock to intense hard rock—while staying true to themselves.

Jooyeon said, “We design the song with even the fans’ big sing-along moments during the show in mind,” expressing confidence in their live stages.

Last year’s appearance at 'Lollapalooza Chicago' and helping decorate the opening stage of the world-famous band Muse' Korea tour opening performance became invaluable nourishment for Xdinary Heroes. When asked about their goals for the future, Ode said, “I want to try something new on a big outdoor stage,” and JunHan said, “Someday I want to become a global star and perform on the Olympic opening ceremony stage,” sharing their grand dream.
