A revenge thriller that shook the world, 〈Ms. 45〉, has unveiled two powerful poster variations ahead of its Korean re-release.
In the revenge thriller of Tania, who steps out as a street enforcer, 〈Ms. 45〉 tells the story of how Tania—who is inherently unable to speak—gets repeatedly dragged into crime, and eventually, by sheer happenstance, ends up taking a .45-caliber handgun and becoming a street enforcer. With its extreme expressions, 〈Ms. 45〉, which caused quite a stir when first released, is returning to theaters so Korean audiences can experience it starting May 7.
Ahead of the two posters, which feature standout artwork, on April 24, 〈Ms. 45〉 revealed the two poster variations. One poster, featuring a close-up of Tania in a nun’s outfit—symbolic of 〈Ms. 45〉—captures the film’s intensity with a red color palette. In the other, Tania at the moment the handgun fires is arranged in a segmented way, conveying changes in Tania through the poster.
Director Park Chan-wook’s strong recommendation With the line “The Movie of My Life — Director Park Chan-wook’s ‘Kind Lady Geum-ja’” displayed at the top of the two posters, both prospective viewers who missed 〈Ms. 45〉 and fans who have been waiting for a theater screening are filled with anticipation. 〈Ms. 45〉 will be available in theaters starting May 7.
