The girl group LE SSERAFIM set the wheels in motion for their Regular 2nd album activities by unveiling a lead single that opens a new chapter.

■ A paradox that celebrates “fear”… “CELEBRATION” captures an expanded perspective

According to Source Music on the 24th, LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) released the audio and music video for their lead single “CELEBRATION” from their Regular 2nd album “PUREFLOW Part 1 (PUREFLOW pt.1)” simultaneously worldwide at 1:00 PM that day.

Rather than denying fear, this new song embraces it and celebrates the moment they gained strength from confronting their own inner self. If the debut track “FEARLESS” proclaimed “confidence without fear,” then this song delivers a more mature narrative—“I was able to grow even stronger because I knew fear”—and is aptly referred to as the so-called “FEARLESS 2.0”. In particular, members Kim Chaewon and Heo Yunjin directly participated in the songwriting, infusing their own sincere stories into the music.

Musically, LE SSERAFIM’s daring experiment stands out. “CELEBRATION” is a track that blends melodic techno (Melodic Techno) with hardstyle (Hardstyle), an electronic dance genre popular in the late 1990s. Known for an upbeat yet heavy, addictive beat, the members shared, “The moment I first heard it, I could picture everyone in the venue enjoying it together,” displaying strong confidence.

LE SSERAFIM will broadcast the new track’s performance for the first time ever through KBS 2TV “Music Bank” today at 4:55 PM. Then, they plan to continue the comeback momentum by appearing on MBC’s “Show! Music Core” on the 25th and SBS’s “Inkigayo” on the 26th.
