The girl group FIFTY FIFTY has set its sights on its return timing.
Major Achievements of Their June Return and Past Album According to ATTRAKT, the agency, on the 4th, FIFTY FIFTY is preparing for a comeback with the goal of releasing a new album in early June. This new release will come about seven months after the digital single ‘Too Much Part 1’ announced in November of last year. Previously, FIFTY FIFTY released the title track of that single, ‘Rock-Paper-Scissors,’ as well as the B-side ‘Skittlez.’ Among them, ‘Skittlez’ managed to enter the U.S. radio chart ‘Mediabase 40’ and Billboard’s ‘Pop Airplay’ chart.
4-Member Promotions Focused on Health Recovery The group’s activities for this new album will be carried out as a four-member lineup: Kina, Munsunel, Yewon, and Athena. One member is currently in a state of temporarily pausing activities for health reasons, having done so last March. ATTRAKT said in an official statement regarding the direction of this promotion, “We held sufficient discussions with the members and with the individual herself regarding the comeback activities. One member is currently focusing on recovery, and as a result, we decided to proceed with the album activities as a four-member team.” Specific scheduling related to the new album release will be revealed gradually through the group’s official SNS accounts at a later date.
Multi-Faceted Moves Including Fan Communication and Acting During the album hiatus, FIFTY FIFTY handled a variety of schedules. They have maintained their connection with the public by hosting fan meetings and fan concerts, and they also carried out acting activities in parallel. The members participated in filming the Kitz Premium short-form drama ‘After-School Exorcism Club,’ which is set to be released this month. While juggling various schedules, FIFTY FIFTY plans to continue its new music activities through its June comeback.
