〈A Quiet Place 3〉 has kicked off filming.
The 〈A Quiet Place〉 series depicts the story of a family that survives after human society collapses under an onslaught of monsters that suddenly appeared one day. By taking on creatures that lack eyesight but possess exceptional hearing, the film delivers extreme tension that helped it become hugely popular worldwide. It’s also known as a project led by John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, the famous “Hollywood lovebirds.”
After the first film in January 2018, the second film in 2021, and a 2024 spin-off, the third installment—now in preparation—was officially announced as filming under director John Krasinski on May 10 (North America). On that day, Krasinski posted a photo of a slate placed in front of the Arc de Triomphe in France to SNS, writing, “Here. We. Go! #Part III.” Known to be the series’ final entry, this new film—excluding the spin-off—will be directed and written by John Krasinski, who previously handled direction and screenplay for the main films.
Likewise, returning stars from the previous films—including Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds—will join the cast, and Cillian Murphy, Jack Outkail—? Wait: Jack O’Connell, Katie O’Brien, and Jason Clarke also appear. Scheduled for release in July 2027.
