Kim Seon-ho Donates 50 Million Won to a Senior Welfare Center for His Birthday…Addressing Corporate Controversy Amid Preparing for His Next Project

Actor Kim Seon-ho delivered a donation to help advance senior welfare as a gift for his birthday.

According to his agency, Fantagio, on the 11th, Kim Seon-ho donated 50 million won to the Korea Senior Welfare Center Association on the 8th to mark his birthday. The sponsorship will be used to support education for older adults and activities that encourage social participation, centered on senior welfare centers nationwide. Kim Seon-ho is said to have decided to share this donation in order to encourage the seniors’ new learning and challenges, based on his recent experience communicating with local senior citizens during the filming process for the Coupang Play variety program 'Bonjour Bbangjeom'.

This birthday donation from Kim Seon-ho is not the first time. Since 2021, he has consistently continued his good deeds by sending donations every year on his birthday, supporting everything from medical treatment costs for children with leukemia to assistance for young adults preparing for independence. Currently, Kim Seon-ho is preparing for the release of Disney+ drama 'Hohyun', his next project in which he co-stars with Suzy, alongside his appearance in the variety 'Bonjour Bbangjeom', and he is also actively working in acting while filming the tvN drama 'Doctor, It’s a Boyuhasa'.

Meanwhile, his agency also shared its position regarding recent allegations of tax evasion related to Kim Seon-ho’s management of a one-person corporation. Fantagio said that after recognizing that it could lead to misunderstandings, they stopped operating the corporation and explained that there has been absolutely no substantive activity through that corporation for at least the past year. Along with this, they stated that they are currently carrying out the procedures to close the corporation and dismissed suspicions raised by some people.
