BTS Turns Las Vegas Red With the “Sphere”… Sets the Stage for the 2026 North & Central America World Cup Halftime Show

Las Vegas, Nevada’s major concert venue, the ‘Sphere,’ is set to transform with the theme of ‘ARIRANG’ in celebration of BTS’s world tour concert.

Launching GLOBAL THE CITY 2.0 and Sphere decorations On the 15th, its agency, BigHit Music, announced the detailed operating plan for the offline event “The City Las Vegas” via the fan community platform Weverse. This project marks the first move of “GLOBAL THE CITY 2.0,” which expands an existing city-style campaign worldwide, and will be carried out on the largest scale to date. During the project period, the Sphere—set to be the world’s largest dome-shaped venue—will broadcast digital content themed around BTS’s regular 5th album “ARIRANG” across the entire rounded exterior, delivering an overwhelming visual spectacle to tourists from around the world visiting Las Vegas.

Tourism authority collaboration illumination and related events BTS will partner with the Las Vegas Tourism Authority to unveil “ARIRANG Red Illumination,” lighting up the night in downtown with the intense red glow that symbolizes the album’s identity colors. The Strip area, a hub for tourism and commerce, will be covered with large-scale outdoor advertisements welcoming BTS. On the 23rd–24th and 27th–28th (local time), when concerts are held, major hotels and landmarks will light up their red lights all at once. Alongside this, a variety of hands-on experiences are lined up—including welcome parties at the Tailgate Beach Club on the 22nd and 26th, collaborations with food and beverage brands such as Tous les Jours, and a culinary tour—so the entire city is expected to become a festival destination.

Allegiant Stadium performances and debut at the World Cup halftime show As the city comes to be filled with BTS’s music and messages, the main performances will take place four times in total at Allegiant Stadium on the 23rd–24th and 27th–28th. Meanwhile, BTS, currently promoting a successful new album and rolling out a large-scale world tour, has confirmed its appearance as the headliner for the upcoming “2026 FIFA North & Central America World Cup” Final halftime show, once again proving its unrivaled status as a global top-tier artist.
