SBS has officially set the first broadcast of its new Fri-Sat drama ‘Manager Kim’, an on-screen adaptation of the same-titled popular Naver webtoon, for next month on the 26th. ‘Manager Kim’ depicts how a seemingly ordinary middle-aged dad awakens as the most dangerous person in the world as he unseals the dark past he had sealed away to save his kidnapped only daughter.

• ‘So Ji-sub’: Takes on the role of Kim Bu-jang, the dad of Min-ji, a mid-sized savings bank employee who hides a fatal past as a North-South Korean espionage operative. He is set to show ruthless, overwhelming action that surpasses the previous project ‘Gwangjang’.

• ‘Choi Dae-hoon’: Plays Seong Han-soo, a dad who currently runs a taekwondo gym. He is a former national team gold medalist who is a taekwondo champion.

• ‘Yoon Kyung-ho’: Portrays Park Jin-cheol, a dad who once served as a deployed soldier roaming the battlefields. With his weighty charisma, he is responsible for the tight tension throughout the drama.

Solid directing team and the explosive synergy of ‘Park Tae-jun Universe’

Nam Dae-jung, who showed off outstanding instincts through the films ‘Wonderful Wish’ and ‘Thirty Days’, wrote the screenplay. In addition, the drama is completed with a high-quality mise-en-scène built by co-directors Lee Seung-young and Lee So-eun, two veterans in genre drama directing such as ‘Wonderful World’, ‘Tracer’, and ‘Voice 2’.
