Kim So-yeon Confirmed for JTBC's 〈Rediscovering Love〉

Kim So-yeon, Kim Ji-seok, Yoon Hyun-min and Hwang Woo-seul-hye will star in JTBC's new drama 〈Rediscovering Love〉.

Scheduled to air in the latter half of this year, 〈Rediscovering Love〉 is an office-romance drama with slice-of-life elements about a divorced couple who end up sharing a home and working at the same workplace, rediscovering each other in the process. Directed by Lee Dong-yoon and written by Kim Young-in, the drama follows two people who lost each other within the roles of husband and wife as they confront the unvarnished reality of their relationship and reconsider the meaning of love and marriage.

Kim So-yeon will play Jang Ha-kyung, a contracted front-desk employee at the Jerabi Hotel VIP club lounge. Once an exceptionally skilled hotelier, Ha-kyung experienced a career interruption because of marriage and childcare. After her divorce, she returns to work at the same hotel as her ex-husband and begins the third act of her life. This marks her return to JTBC roughly two years after the drama 〈The Quiet Sales〉.

Kim Ji-seok will portray Lee Dong-jin, Ha-kyung's ex-husband and the marketing deputy general manager of the Jerabi Hotel VIP club lounge. He prided himself on having worked hard for his family, but after Ha-kyung divorced him, he reunites with her in the same home and workplace a year later and begins to reexamine the relationship he lost.

Yoon Hyun-min will play Park Mu-hyuk, the team leader of the Jerabi Hotel VIP club lounge's dedicated team. Bright and highly capable, Mu-hyuk has never forgotten Ha-kyung, whom he met nine years earlier, and when they reunite at work, he stirs new feelings in her.

Hwang Woo-seul-hye will appear as Oh Yu-mi, Ha-kyung's former senior at work and now close friend. Oh runs a café, works as a barista instructor and is a well-known YouTuber; she projects a cool charm but carries a private backstory.

JTBC's 〈Rediscovering Love〉, which follows the characters' realistic romance and personal changes after divorce, will air in the second half of the year.
