K-Zombies That Take Over New York Screens and a Heavy Sense of the Times
The top most-anticipated title in this special program is without a doubt 'Gunchae', a new zombie film that pairs director 'Yeon Sang-ho' with actor 'Jeon Ji-hyun'. With the twin stars’ joint appearance confirmed, local film insiders are paying close attention. Among the 23-film lineup presented across five theaters around New York, the program also includes thought-provoking buzz titles such as 'Hanmyeong-mi' director 'Hanran' and 'My Name Is' directed by 'Jung Ji-young'. Discussions with the directors that follow immediately after each screening are expected to offer a dense, high-impact forum to prove the philosophical depth of K-content to the world.
