Actor Lee Jun-ho returns to the living-room screen this time after transforming into a “Dragon (龍)”. On the 23rd, tvN officially announced that it has confirmed Lee Jun-ho and the rookie Hong Hwayeon as the male and female leads in its new drama “Korean Embassy in Korea.”

“Korean Embassy in Korea” is an original romance comedy set in a secret diplomatic outpost that oversees non-human beings from Korean folklore, such as haechee (sea monsters), mermaids, and gumiho (nine-tailed fox spirits). In the drama, Lee Jun-ho plays “Cha-yeon”, the top leader who runs the embassy and a dragon with overwhelming charisma, promising an unprecedented acting transformation. Hong Hwayeon, his counterpart, plays “Go-mi-woo”, an ordinary new diplomat in the human world who nevertheless enters an unfamiliar space due to an unexpected posting, anchoring the center of the story.
