The new series 〈The Mouse〉 has unveiled its release soon with teaser posters and a trailer.
Netflix original series 〈The Mouse〉 announced it will begin airing on Aug. 28 after releasing a teaser poster and trailer on July 31. 〈The Mouse〉 is a mystery pursuit thriller based on the Korean traditional folktale 'The Mouse That Ate a Fingernail,' depicting novelist Mun-jae (Ryu Jun-yeol) as he tracks down the identity behind a mysterious being, a mouse, that steals his name, face, and life all at once.
The teaser poster shows Mun-jae, whose identity has been stolen, together with a mouse seemingly mocking him, sparking curiosity. In the teaser trailer, it conveys the urgency of 〈The Mouse〉 through surreal scenes that shape the psychological pressure he feels, along with the chaotic situation he faces. It also reveals the appearances of Ryu Jun-yeol as Mun-jae, Sol Kyung-gu as No-ja, a moneylender who will chase the case, and Lee Gyu-hyeong as Detective Soon-yong, raising expectations for the chemistry among the three.
〈The Mouse〉 will be released exclusively on Friday, Aug. 28, on Netflix. Based on the webtoon of the same name, it was adapted by author Lee Jae-gon, and directed by director Kim Hong-seon.
