The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival turned heads by releasing a trailer.

The 22nd Jecheon International Music & Film Festival, set to be held this year, released its official trailer on Aug. 7. The official trailer,
〈Chansil-i has a hallway full of opportunities, not many〉, and Director Kim Cho-hui directs it. Actor Kang Mal-geum and the couple Kim Eun-hee and Jang Hang-jun appear, unleashing a joyful energy.

The 22nd Jecheon International Music & Film Festival trailer, which comedically lays out the journey from an ape evolving into a human to reaching the world of film, carried the festival’s comfort and hope through its distinctive ideas and humor. Director Kim Cho-hui said she wanted to convey what the film festival means to creators with “one cheeky joke rather than a grand declaration,” and that wish was transformed into a “straw” that has been stuck in a woman’s back — the wife of a film director — for 22 years.

Also joining the festival, Commission Chair Jang Hang-jun and his wife, writer Kim Eun-hee, who penned the
〈Signal〉, bring out the best rhythm in every scene through their playful performances and raise interest. The 22nd Jecheon International Music & Film Festival will run for six days from Sept. 3 to 8 in and around Jecheon.
