On the 10th, YG Entertainment unveiled a release poster for the new song through its official blog. BigBang’s latest single presented as a team release will be the first in 4 years and 4 months since “Spring Summer Fall Winter” in April 2022.

In a statement, YG said, “‘BiiiG’ is the track that most clearly shows where BigBang is today on the occasion of its 20th debut anniversary,” adding, “Please look forward to yet another musical spectrum that BigBang—who have built their own musical world over a long time—will show.”

Having debuted in August 2006, BigBang went on to produce numerous hit songs, including “Lie,” “Last Farewell,” “Day by Day,” “FANTASTIC BABY,” and “BANG BANG BANG,” establishing itself as a group that represents the second generation of K-pop.
