iKON's Koo Jun-hoe shares buzz-cut video ahead of Aug. 11 active-duty enlistment

iKON member Koo Jun-hoe shared a video of himself giving himself a buzz cut ahead of his Aug. 11 active-duty enlistment.

Koo Jun-hoe shared the post on social media on Aug. 9. Ahead of his Aug. 11 active-duty enlistment, he posted a clip of himself cutting his hair. In the video, he watches footage of past performances while trimming his hair, and when he sees his bare head in the mirror he smiles sheepishly.

A member of iKON since 2015, Koo Jun-hoe — who is known for the group's distinctive husky tone — stayed busy across music and acting right up until enlistment. Since 2023 he has built his acting profile on television and in film, and in 2024 he expanded his solo work by releasing his first solo mini album 'Meong', on which he participated in writing and composing every track.

With Koo Jun-hoe's enlistment, iKON has become a group whose members have all begun fulfilling their mandatory military service. Kim Dong-hyuk is serving in the military band until Jan. 27, 2027; Koo Jun-hoe is scheduled to be discharged on Feb. 10, 2028, raising expectations for iKON to return as a full group after his discharge.
