An office survival thriller that breaks 400 years of silence, a twist on comedy and exorcism action

Actors 'Ahn Jae-hong' and 'Lee Da-hee' take on a corpse monster sealed away for 400 years. CJ ENM, the investing and distribution company, said that the original comedy film 'Corpse Monster: Fear Workshop' began full-scale filming on the 12th.

The film is an out-of-this-world survival tale in which employees of Dongbang Savings Bank who head to a workshop for the Golden Holiday unexpectedly wake a corpse monster that has been asleep for 400 years. By combining office-worker characters grounded in reality with supernatural exorcism action, the project sets up the arrival of 'K-corpse monster movie,' a kind of film that is rare in the Korean film industry.

Ahn Jae-hong will play the lead role of Mu Dong-seong, the youngest at the Dongbang Savings Bank Man-geum-dong branch and a junior officer from a taekwondo player special intake. Lee Da-hee takes on the role of Jeong Ji-seon, a team leader with a rules-first mindset, while Yoon Kyung-ho, who can add vitality to the film with his standout wit, joins as the longtime assistant officer A-pa-dong, building a perfect acting ensemble.

In addition, a large supporting cast that boasts strong acting chops, including 'Kim Ji-eun,' 'Lee Hak-ju,' 'Ko Chang-seok,' 'Kim Hak-cheol,' and 'Kang Ae-sim' has joined in to raise the film’s overall density. The director is 'Woo Moong-gi,' who previously sparked a fresh comedy wave in the Korean independent film scene through the film 'King of Jojgu,' and he is now behind the camera, fueling public curiosity.
