K-pop’s No. 1 act sets its sights on global dominance, poised to take over U.S. primetime

The group 'NCT 127', which leads the gods of global K-pop, will make a surprise appearance on the live stage of the U.S. NBC’s flagship audition program 'America's Got Talent' (America's Got Talent) and kick off the run-up to its comeback. According to SM Entertainment, the agency, the members will show up at the live broadcast scheduled for the 19th (local time) at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in California and deliver an overwhelming performance. Now in its 21st season this year, the program is a top U.S. launchpad with global reach.

Its North America on-site broadcast appearance right before a new album release is a key spark that will push global fandom expectations to their peak. 'NCT 127' will begin its full-scale effort to reclaim the throne by releasing its 'Regular 7th Album' 'BLINGY', packed with a total of nine tracks—including the namesake title track — in a simultaneous global release on the 24th at 6 p.m.

Their comeback preparations are already on a mega-ton scale. Before the release of the new album, they carried out a 'global promotion' on an unprecedented scale. From the 24th of last month through the 6th of this month, they successfully wrapped up a large outdoor advertising campaign spanning 13 major hub cities worldwide, starting with Seoul and moving through New York and Los Angeles in the United States, as well as Beijing and Shanghai in China. This underscores both their strong buzz and their far-reaching impact as K-pop’s top-tier predator.
