ENHYPEN's 'THE SIN : BLISS' hits No. 1 six years after debut in an upset fueled by 98,000 sales
Physical album sales of 92,000 put it atop 'Top Album Sales'; the release records 2.02 million copies sold shortly after launch
The group 'ENHYPEN' has earned its first No. 1 on the U.S. 'Billboard 200' main albums chart, six years after its debut. The milestone came with its eighth mini album, 'THE SIN : BLISS', the first release after the group made the high-stakes move to a six-member lineup.

Six-member lineup successfully takes hold, marking K-pop boy groups' sixth historic No. 1
According to a chart preview published by Billboard on the 30th, local time, 'THE SIN : BLISS' topped the chart ahead of major pop stars including Ella Langley at No. 2 and Olivia Rodrigo at No. 3. The album generated 98,000 units during the tracking period. Physical album sales accounted for 92,000 of those units, putting the release at No. 1 on the 'Top Album Sales' chart as well. Streaming equivalent album sales, or SEA, totaled 6,000 units.
Since debuting in 2020, this is ENHYPEN's first time reaching No. 1 on the 'Billboard 200'. After earlier releases 'ROMANCE : UNTOLD' and 'THE SIN : VANISH' peaked at No. 2, the group had steadily challenged for the top spot before finally claiming it. ENHYPEN is the sixth K-pop boy group ever to top the chart, following BTS, SuperM, Stray Kids, ATEEZ and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. The group also extended its notable streak of seven consecutive 'Billboard 200' top-10 albums, beginning with 'MANIFESTO : DAY 1'.
The new album drew intense attention from both the public and critics as the first release after the group was reorganized from seven members to six. Its domestic reception has been equally explosive. The album surpassed 2.02 million copies in cumulative sales on the Hanteo Chart on the 27th, shortly after its release, easily entering the 'double million-seller' ranks. The second chapter in the 'THE SIN' series, which takes sin as its central motif, the album contains 10 polished tracks, including the title song 'Bloody Paradise'.
Meanwhile, this week's 'Billboard 200' chart again demonstrated the global reach of K-pop artists. 'WILD' by 'KATSEYE', which topped the chart the previous week, landed at No. 6 with 55,000 album units, while 'THIS & THAT' by 'Stray Kids' ranked No. 8 with 48,000 units. A best-of album by American country music legend 'Dolly Parton', who died on the 25th, also re-entered the chart at No. 5, reflecting a worldwide wave of mourning.
