Group ENHYPEN(ENHYPEN) has successfully entered the upper ranks of the U.S. Billboard main album chart with their new release 'THE SIN: VANISH'.
Billboard announced on the 25th (local time) through a chart preview article that ENHYPEN's new mini album 'THE SIN: VANISH' debuted at No. 2 on the latest 'Billboard 200' chart. Following the No. 1 spot this week held by A$AP Rocky's (Don't Be Dumb), this ranking once again proves the dominance of K-pop groups on the Billboard charts.
With this achievement, ENHYPEN has set an amazing record of entering the 'Billboard 200' Top 10 for six consecutive albums since 'MANIFESTO: DAY 1'(MANIFESTO: DAY 1) reached No. 6 in 2022.
'THE SIN: VANISH' recorded album units equivalent to 122,000 copies during this chart aggregation period. In particular, physical album sales reached 113,000 copies, securing the No. 1 spot on this week's 'Top Album Sales' chart, showcasing strong fandom power. The streaming equivalent (SEA) recorded 9,000 copies.
'THE SIN: VANISH' is the first album in the 'THE SIN' series themed around sin, marking the ambitious start of ENHYPEN's new musical journey. It showcases a diverse musical spectrum centered around the title track 'Knife'.
The album includes the alternative R&B track 'No Way Back'(No Way Back) featuring So-yoon from the indie band Seventeen, the pop genre track 'Big Girls Don't Cry'(Big Girls Don't Cry) with lyrics contributed by Dynamic Duo's Gaeko, and the self-composed song 'Sleep Tight'(Sleep Tight) presented for the first time by member Jake.
