'The Penthouse' star Yoon Jong-hoon and 'Return' co-star Han Eun-seo turn on-screen connection into marriage, wedding set for Nov. 1

From co-stars to lifelong partners, trust brings a relationship to fruition

Actors Yoon Jong-hoon, 42, and Han Eun-seo, 32, will marry on Nov. 1. Yoon's agency, YK Media Plus, officially announced the 'marriage' news on the 7th, drawing widespread attention.

The couple's relationship began on the SBS drama 'Return', which aired in 2018. After working together and naturally developing into an on-screen couple, they will finally become husband and wife, building on years of deep trust in each other.

Yoon shared the happy news with fans first on the 7th by posting a handwritten letter on his official fan cafe. “A precious person has come into my life, and now I intend to walk through life with that person,” he wrote, expressing his sincere feelings.

He added, “After caring for and understanding each other and making an effort, we are preparing to begin a new chapter. From now on, I will live with greater responsibility—as someone's husband and as actor Yoon Jong-hoon.”

Yoon made his debut in the 2013 tvN drama 'Monstar' and has since demonstrated a broad acting range in major productions including 'Reply 1994', 'Misaeng' and 'The Penthouse' series. He recently took the lead in KBS 1TV's daily drama 'Our Happy Days', anchoring the series at its center.

Han, the bride-to-be, made her television debut in the 2008 KBS 2TV drama 'King Sejong the Great'. She has since built an impressive body of work in productions including 'Will It Snow for Christmas?', 'High Kick! The Revenge of the Short Legged' and 'Ghost', establishing herself as a skilled actor.
