TVING's original series 〈Make Me Tremble〉, written by An Sae-bom and directed by Kim Ye-ji, will premiere Thursday, Oct. 15, and has released a teaser trailer ahead of its debut. The series is produced by KT Studio Genie and Gline, with Studio Icon participating as a co-producer.
〈Make Me Tremble〉 is a chaotic romantic comedy about personal growth that follows a woman who refuses sex without love and a man who is comfortable having sex without love. Nam Ji-hyun plays Gong Yeon-su, a marketer raised in a conservative head-family household steeped in Confucian values who draws a strict line against physical contact. Kim Jae-young portrays Dok Go-dal, the CEO of a sex-toy startup who emphasizes safe sex and openly acknowledges his company's identity.
The teaser highlights the starkly different personalities of the two leads, who are brought together through a marketing collaboration involving sex-toy products. Gong Yeon-su expresses skepticism — "Does love really have to be proven with a sex toy?" — while Dok Go-dal fires back, urging her to drop her prejudices and take a clearer look. The trailer goes on to show Gong Yeon-su's rigid values starting to crack through her encounters with Dok Go-dal, leaving her with an unfamiliar flutter.
Writers Kang Eun-kyung and Joo Hwa-mi participated as creators, adding polish to the series. The TVING original series 〈Make Me Tremble〉, starring Nam Ji-hyun and Kim Jae-young in a romance shaped by clashing tastes, will be available on TVING starting Oct. 15.
