11 years in the making: Finale awakens in analog sound

Global top-tier girl group TWICE is preserving the “THIS IS FOR” finale concert that capped its world tour in an analog format. JYP Entertainment officially announced on the 15th that it will release a special LP album on the 16th of next month featuring the complete live recording of the electrifying Seoul performances.

The special LP will include live tracks from the final leg of the world tour, held over three days from July 10 to 12 at Seoul Olympic Park’s KPSO Dome, formerly known as the Gymnastics Arena. The record is expected to bring the explosive cheers and vibrant energy of the venue—elements that can be difficult to fully capture in digital audio—to the turntable.

The concerts also featured an open, 360-degree seating layout, creating an intensely immersive experience that brought the artists and fans physically and emotionally closer together. The third-day performance, which marked the tour’s finale, connected with fans worldwide in real time through the global online livestreaming platform BeyondLIVE, once again underscoring TWICE’s standing at the top of K-pop.

JYP Entertainment said, “This concert was a stage that brought together, through a rich and diverse setlist, TWICE’s landmark 11-year journey since its debut,” adding, “As a special LP planned in response to the overwhelming support from fans, it will be a well-crafted album with substantial collectible value.”
