Haha, Joo Woo-jae leave 'Hangout with Yoo' and reunite in three-part spinoff 'What Is It? What on Earth Is Going On!'

As MBC's flagship variety show 'Hangout with Yoo' takes a brief break, a bold 'spinoff' program is coming to television to ease viewers' disappointment. MBC officially announced on the 18th that it had scheduled a new travel-variety show, 'What Is It? What on Earth Is Going On!', for the 9th of next month.

The new series is a three-part 'unpredictable travelogue' starring 'Haha' and 'Joo Woo-jae', key members of 'Hangout with Yoo', along with variety-show secret weapon 'Heo Kyung-hwan'. The three set off on a free-form trip to enjoy a rare, long-awaited vacation, but they soon find themselves in trouble. Unexpected situations planted throughout their journey by a thoroughly mysterious 'mastermind' will throw their plans into disarray and are expected to deliver fresh laughs.

The program will fill the slot left vacant by the cancellation of the regular broadcast during coverage of the '2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games'. Beginning with its premiere on the 9th of next month, it will anchor viewers' weekend evenings for a total of 'three weeks' through the 23rd.
