Finding the meaning of family after a long road of missed connections

KBS 1TV's daily drama 'Our Happy Good Day,' led by actors 'Yoon Jong-hoon' and 'Uhm Hyun-kyung,' ended on a high note after breaking into double-digit ratings.

According to ratings agency Nielsen Korea, the finale that aired the previous day posted a nationwide rating of '11.3%.' It brought a fitting close to the drama's six-month run.

The finale focused on the journey of Go Gyeol, played by Yoon Jong-hoon, and Jo Eun-ae, played by Uhm Hyun-kyung, as they struggled with their tangled fates before finally realizing they were truly in love.

In the drama, Eun-ae chose to end the relationship while suppressing her feelings for Gyeol, who was preparing to leave for the United States after receiving an unprecedented scouting offer. But viewers were quickly gripped by the 'surprise twist' in which Gyeol, recognizing that some things mattered more than success, returned to Eun-ae.

The two ultimately completed 'Eun-gyeol House,' their own home, and left viewers with a lasting impression through a 'happy ending' in which they built a warm everyday life with a new addition to the family.

'Our Happy Good Day,' which began production last March, commanded the home-viewing audience with its fast-paced story of a chaebol construction company's succession battle and tangled secrets surrounding the characters' births. Starting on the '28th,' a new daily drama, 'Mom Has Gone Crazy,' starring Jung Min-a and Dong-ha, will take over the time slot.
