According to Nielsen Korea, the ratings agency, the 14th and final episode, which aired the previous day, posted a nationwide rating of '11.8%' on the 20th, ending the series on a high note. The figure underscored viewers' strong response throughout its run.

The episode centered on the operation to arrest a serial killer. Jin Yi-soo, played by Ahn Bo-hyun, and Major Crimes Team 1 mounted a meticulous psychological campaign to bring the chaebol heir and killer 'Yoo Seung-ho', who played Yoo Seong-won, to justice.

Jin Yi-soo and Major Crimes Team 1 leader 'Jung Eun-chae', who played Joo Hye-ra, deliberately provoked Yoo Seong-won to draw out his confession.
