The new album, '27', explores through a diverse range of genres Yuqi's firm belief that she is the protagonist of her own life, regardless of how others see her, and that she will love herself fully.

Yuqi wrote and composed all six tracks, including the title track 'Stay' and the album track 'I Like You', further cementing her distinctive standing as a singer-songwriter.

Ahead of the album's release, Yuqi said, "The title track, 'Stay', is an honest reflection of the story of youth as experienced and felt by 27-year-old Yuqi." She added, "I hope you will take the time to savor the lyrics of every song on the album at least once."
