Travis Barker, the legendary drummer of Blink-182, said he recently underwent emergency surgery after experiencing numbness in his arm and fingers.

“Since finishing a performance last month, I felt numbness throughout my arm, hand and fingers. After undergoing a nerve test Monday, I was diagnosed as needing a cubital tunnel release to relieve pressure on the nerve at my elbow, so I went ahead with the surgery,” he said.

He added, “I had the surgery proactively so I can keep playing drums for a long time. I’ll be fully recovered in a few weeks,” offering an optimistic outlook for his recovery. Alongside a photo of Kourtney Kardashian smiling beside his bed, he also joked, “I don’t know why my wife is so happy,” keeping the mood light.
