Lee Chae-yeon blooms as a J-rock vocalist with a new emotional spectrum

Singer Lee Chae-yeon, a former member of girl group IZ*ONE, will make her official entry into Japan’s music market on the 8th with the release of her Japanese debut single, ‘My Voice’.

According to her agency, Day One Dream, the title track of the same name is a J-rock song marked by a refreshing band sound and powerful electric-guitar riffs. Lee Chae-yeon has captivated audiences with her commanding dance skills, but this release puts her vocal abilities front and center.

The new song fully captures the wistful emotion of conveying deeply held feelings to someone through her voice.

Ahead of the official release, Lee Chae-yeon successfully held a showcase in Tokyo on the 6th to mark her Japanese debut, sharing an enthusiastic connection with fans.

“I’m truly happy to be able to begin my music activities in Japan,” she said through her agency. “If I’ve shown you a lot of my performance work until now, this time I want you to discover another side of my appeal through my singing voice and delicate emotional expression.”
