‘Global rookie’ Dragon Pony takes solo concert series from Seoul to Tokyo

Next-generation rock band Dragon Pony is dramatically expanding its reach beyond Korea to stages across Japan.

Antenna, the band’s agency, announced that Dragon Pony will hold a solo concert, Calling Back in TOKYO, at Club Quattro in Shibuya, Tokyo, on Jan. 10 next year.

The show was planned to bring the emotion and energy of the band’s new song, Calling Back, released on the 5th, to local audiences. Following its Seoul concerts on Dec. 5 and 6, Dragon Pony will take the stage in Tokyo, continuing its string of solo shows at full throttle.

Earlier, after releasing its first mini-album in Japan, Run to Run, Dragon Pony successfully completed a tour of major cities including Tokyo and Osaka, earning enthusiastic praise from local music industry figures and fans. The band plans to use this Seoul-to-Tokyo concert series as a springboard to showcase the distinctive musical abilities of K-bands.
