Jjuyang Returns to 'Radio Star' After a Year... First Reveal of 12.2 Million Subscribers 'Diamond Button'

Mukbang YouTuber Jjuyang appeared on MBC's entertainment show 'Radio Star' aired on the 30th.

Jjuyang explained the background of his appearance, saying, 'I was supposed to come on Radio Star around June or July last year, but something happened last year. So I canceled, and I apologize for that, which is why I'm here now.'

He said, 'In fact, this is my first official broadcast appearance in a year. I kept postponing my appearances, but I was happily invited to Radio Star, and above all, the lineup was so good. I'm shy and can't speak well, but there were announcers, singers, and comedians who speak well, so I felt comfortable coming here.'

Jjuyang revealed the change in his YouTube subscriber count, saying, 'I can't believe it myself. It started at 3 million, then 8 million during my second appearance, and now it's 12.2 million. The percentage of Koreans is about 40%.'

He continued, 'Today, I plan to reveal the diamond button that you receive when you surpass 10 million,' surprising the cast by unveiling the YouTube diamond play button for the first time.

The diamond play button is a special award given to channels that surpass 10 million subscribers on YouTube.
