〈My Daughter is a Zombie〉 has surpassed 1 million viewers in its opening week and is on the verge of reaching 2 million viewers.

According to the Korea Box Office Information System (KOBIS) on August 4, 〈My Daughter is a Zombie〉 gathered viewers at a frightening pace over the weekend. From Friday, August 1 to Sunday, August 3, 〈My Daughter is a Zombie〉 attracted 1.16 million viewers, recording a cumulative audience of 1.86 million, reaching the milestone of 2 million viewers in just the first week. Meanwhile, 〈F1 The Movie〉, which has been out for over a month, still holds the second place, drawing 380,000 viewers over the weekend and surpassing 3 million viewers.

On the other hand, the fortunes of this week's films diverged between 〈King of Kings〉 and 〈All-Knowing Reader Perspective〉. The animation 〈King of Kings〉, which recorded the highest box office in North American history for a Korean film, seemed to lose momentum after its release but climbed to third place this weekend, gathering 130,000 viewers and surpassing 1 million viewers. 〈All-Knowing Reader Perspective〉, despite being a blockbuster that opens the summer market, did not receive a strong response from audiences, recording 110,000 viewers and landing in fourth place, with a cumulative audience of 970,000.

Released on the 30th, 〈Bad Guys 2〉 ranked fifth, attracting 110,000 viewers and successfully gathering 200,000 viewers in its opening week, which is half of the cumulative audience of its predecessor (410,000 viewers).
