The play 'Amadeus' has revealed its casting lineup.

Written by Peter Shaffer, the play 'Amadeus' deals with the intense psychological portrayal of the ordinary court musician Salieri and the genius composer Mozart, and is based on the 1984 film of the same name. The play impressively depicts Salieri, who is earnest yet showcases his abilities through hard work, and Mozart, who is naturally talented but becomes the target of Salieri's jealousy.

'Amadeus', which opens in September, will feature Park Ho-san, Kwon Yul, Kim Jae-wook, and Moon Yu-gang in the role of Salieri. Kwon Yul will make his stage debut in this production, while Kim Jae-wook, who played Mozart in the premiere seven years ago, returns as Salieri. Mozart will be played by Kim Jun-young, Choi Jung-woo, and Yeon Jun-seok. All three actors are active in musical and theatrical stages and are expected to showcase Mozart's mad genius. Jo In and Lee Eun-jung will play Mozart's wife Constanze Weber, while Kim Ji-wook and Kim Min-soo will portray Emperor Joseph of Austria, and Park Jin-joo will appear as Salieri's student Caterina Cavalieri.

'Amadeus' will be available from September 16 to November 23 at the Hongik University Daehakro Arts Center Grand Theater in Seoul.
