Taylor Swift Confesses She Asked 'Travis Kelce a Ridiculous Question' on Their First Date

Pop star Taylor Swift candidly confessed that she asked NFL star Travis Kelce a 'ridiculous question' about football on their first date.

Swift recalled her first meeting with Kelce on a recent podcast, revealing how little she knew about football rules at the time.

Ridiculous Question About Eye Contact Between Brothers During the Game

Swift said, "I asked Travis if he makes eye contact with his brother Jason during the game," and laughed, adding, "Looking back, it was such a nonsensical question."

Travis kindly explained at the time, "Actually, I’m on the offense and my brother is on the offense too, so I only share the field with the defense team," and added, "Not all players are on the field at the same time."

Jason Kelce also mentioned on the podcast, "Such eye contact between brothers doesn’t happen," and added, "That’s not how the game works."

Swift Now a Huge NFL Fan

However, as time passed, Swift revealed that she became completely immersed in football after frequently watching Kelce's games. "I fell in love with football and now I’m totally addicted," she said.

Swift mentioned, "I’ve become the person who runs down the hallway shouting, 'We drafted Xavier Worthy!'" referring to the 22-year-old wide receiver chosen by the Chiefs in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. "My friends say, 'Who kidnapped you? What are you talking about?'" she laughed.

Travis Kelce expressed gratitude for Swift's dedication to football. "I’ll be forever grateful that you genuinely dove into the world of football," he said.
