fromis_9's Baek Ji-heon, Screen Debut.. Takes Lead Role in Youth Music Film

Baek Ji-heon of the idol group fromis_9 is starting her acting career.

Baek Ji-heon was recently cast in the youth music film 〈Nerd Rhapsody〉. The film 〈Nerd Rhapsody〉 (produced by StudioHIM, Energetic Company) is a coming-of-age story of a genius nerd pianist who challenges hip-hop to win the heart of a transfer student he fell in love with at first sight. It is a youth music growth romance about art high school students finding their own path through music and love.

In addition to Baek Ji-heon, actors Ahn Ji-ho, Moon Sung-hyun, and Wooyeon from the group Wooah have been cast in 〈Nerd Rhapsody〉. Ahn Ji-ho will play the role of 'genius pianist' Yeom Dae-seong, who sweeps national competitions. Baek Ji-heon will play the role of Kwon Na-eun, Yeom Dae-seong's crush, and plans to perform guitar and sing in the film. Meanwhile, Moon Sung-hyun will play the role of Oh Da-min, a confident national high school rapper, and Wooah's Wooyeon will play the role of Dae-seong's younger sister Min-ji.

The film 〈Nerd Rhapsody〉 plans to meet audiences through various platforms, including domestic and international film festivals and OTT releases.
