Moon Ga-young Selected as the Sole MC for Mnet's 'Steal Heart Club'!

Actress Moon Ga-young has been selected as the sole MC for Mnet's global band-making survival show 'Steal Heart Club (STEAL HEART CLUB)'. Following her diverse activities across dramas, variety shows, and documentaries, she embarks on a new challenge as the host of her first music program since her debut.

Mnet's 'Steal Heart Club' is a project to form a 'global iconic band' that captures the romance of youth, raw emotions, and instincts on stage. Participants gathered in band positions such as drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, and vocals will engage in a survival competition to become the 'final headliner band' using their music, emotions, and passionate youth as weapons. It will showcase the formation of the next generation global band, equipped with star quality that captivates the eyes and ears, as well as authenticity in music.

Moon Ga-young is set to serve as the 'first audience' who closely observes their passionate journey and as a narrator who guides the emotional lines. The production team stated, "Moon Ga-young is the ideal person to sincerely convey the participants' narratives with her warm empathy and delicate sensibility," adding, "She will become the 'band curator' who showcases the worldview and youth narratives of this project and introduces the participants' great music."

This year, Moon Ga-young has shown her 'busy activity' by continuing her active engagements since the first half of the year. Through the tvN drama 'The Guy is a Black Dragon' and the recently concluded 'Seocho-dong', she has proven her wide acting spectrum by portraying two completely different characters, alternating between romantic comedy and realistic legal drama genres.

Moon Ga-young's activities will continue in the second half of the year. Along with her role as the sole MC for 'Steal Heart Club', she will also embark on her first Asia fan meeting tour, officially meeting overseas fans. Additionally, the release of the movie 'What If We' is also scheduled, generating anticipation for her diverse activities across screens, broadcasting, and variety shows.

Mnet's 'Steal Heart Club', featuring Moon Ga-young as the MC, will premiere in October.
