Jo Woo-jin, Jeong Kyung-ho, Park Ji-hwan, Lee Gyu-hyung come together for a comic performance.
The film 〈Boss〉 has been invited to the ‘Today’s Korean Cinema – Special Premiere’ section of the 30th Busan International Film Festival and will meet audiences for the first time in the world in Busan this September. 〈Boss〉 is a comic action film depicting the desperate competition of organization members who fiercely ‘concede’ the boss position to each other for their own dreams ahead of the election of the next boss, directed by Lee Hae-chan, known for films like 〈Live Right〉 (2007) and 〈Mr. Idol〉 (2011).
The film 〈Boss〉 draws attention with its fresh and unique setting of a fierce war of concessions among candidates who do not want to become the next boss. In the film, actor Jo Woo-jin plays ‘Soo-tae’, the second-in-command of the ‘Sikgupa’, who wants to be a chef taking over the best restaurants in the country, while actor Jeong Kyung-ho takes on the role of ‘Kang-pyo’, a free spirit who wants to be a tango dancer rather than a boss. Meanwhile, actor Park Ji-hwan plays ‘Pan-ho’, who desperately dreams of being a boss but lacks qualifications, and actor Lee Gyu-hyung plays ‘Tae-kyu’, an undercover police officer infiltrating the organization.
The film 〈Boss〉 officially invited to the 30th Busan International Film Festival will be released in theaters this Chuseok.
