'Eunjoong and Sangyeon' Kim Go-eun X Park Ji-hyun Teto Girl Chemistry Photoshoot Released

Netflix original series 〈Eunjoong and Sangyeon〉 stars Kim Go-eun and Park Ji-hyun have done a photoshoot with 〈Elle〉. This photoshoot captures the two actors' similar yet different faces and their subtle chemistry, conceptually focusing on moments that will never be forgotten.

〈Eunjoong and Sangyeon〉 is a work that depicts the story of two protagonists, mixed with resentment and envy, ranging from their teens to their 40s. When asked how they felt when they realized they were 'Eunjoong' and 'Sangyeon', Park Ji-hyun said, "I was a huge fan of actress Kim Go-eun. I first met her as Yumi in 〈Yumi's Cells〉, and even though I usually don't have trouble with strangers, I couldn't say a word when I first saw her on set. When we started working together, I felt like it was a dream or reality." Kim Go-eun shared, "I casually talked to Ji-hyun, but I remember she was 'shy'. She has a cold face, but I always thought she was an actress who acted very delicately, and she was a very reliable partner."

Having traversed a diverse filmography, Kim Go-eun, who has been telling stories about friendship through works like 〈The Law of the City〉, said, "Coincidentally, I ended up filming 〈The Law of the City〉 and 〈Eunjoong and Sangyeon〉 back to back. I was able to talk about friendship through the works for a long time. That year was particularly a time to deeply think about relationships with friends, and it was special to be able to convey those feelings into the work."

Regarding her role as Sangyeon, Park Ji-hyun said, "In fact, conflicts in human relationships don't arise because one person has bad intentions, but rather misunderstandings accumulate, and emotions get entangled. It's like the butterfly effect. The gazes, lines, breaths, and tremors of those two characters are depicted realistically yet ordinarily, and I felt that this work was definitely like 'Yeonpeu' (romantic drama)."

Finally, they left a message for each other. Kim Go-eun said, "This story is about fully accepting each other. I was glad that Ji-hyun was Sangyeon. Even while shooting and seeing the results, my conviction remained the same. The comfort of being with a partner who acts well was really great." Park Ji-hyun expressed, "Just seeing my sister's face made me tear up. I was so glad that my sister was Eunjoong. She can do anything well!"
