Actor Lee Seong-wook is provoking viewers' anger in 'Try'.

In the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Try: We Become Miracles (hereafter 'Try')', Lee Seong-wook plays the role of the shooting department head Jeon Nak-kyun, who is a key figure in the vice principal (played by Kim Min-sang) line, prioritizing his own safety over that of his students. In the midst of this, Nak-kyun shocked viewers by committing entrance exam corruption under the subtle pressure from the vice principal's request.

So far, Nak-kyun has been constantly concerned about Seol-hyun (played by Sung Ji-young), who has the vice principal as her father, and has been supporting him more diligently than the top student Woo-jin. He has shown that he is more attentive to the vice principal's safety than to the players, even setting Woo-jin up as a practice partner for Seol-hyun. Ultimately, in the last broadcast, Nak-kyun, under the subtle pressure from the vice principal and the vice principal, prepared a recommendation letter for Seol-hyun instead of Woo-jin, who was the first choice for the Korea National Sport University recommendation due to his high medal score, and even swapped Seol-hyun's recommendation letter for the one written by Lee Ji (played by Lim Se-mi) for Woo-jin, inciting anger.

When Woo-jin accidentally found out about this and confronted Nak-kyun, he became greatly agitated by Woo-jin's words about entrance exam corruption and ended up in a physical altercation with the student, resulting in Woo-jin being seriously injured. As the incident escalated due to the student's injury, an investigation committee was convened, and Nak-kyun successfully covered up the incident by persuading Woo-jin's mother, thus protecting his own safety and rejoining the vice principal line.

In this way, Lee Seong-wook skillfully embodies the anger-inducing character of Nak-kyun, breathing life into the character. Especially from the realistic moments of a student council teacher nagging the kids to the annoying actions, he has created a villain character that feels plausible in reality, helping viewers immerse themselves more in 'Try'.

Meanwhile, Lee Seong-wook is continuing his active role as Chief Choi in the Netflix series 'Aema', which was released on the 22nd. On the other hand, the SBS drama 'Try: We Become Miracles', featuring Lee Seong-wook, airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.
