KBS 2TV announced on the 26th that it will present a new weekend mini-series 〈Last Summer〉 in November. This work, starring Lee Jae-wook and Choi Sung-eun, deals with the growth and romance of a man and woman who have spent every summer together since childhood.

The drama begins with Baek Do-ha, who emigrates to the United States due to his parents' divorce, visiting Korea every summer vacation to see his father and twin brother. As he spends summer time with Song Ha-kyung, the daughter of his father's friend who lives next door, romance blossoms, and the process of revealing the hidden secrets of first love after becoming adults is depicted.

Lee Jae-wook takes on the challenge of playing both the talented architect Baek Do-ha and his mysterious twin brother Baek Do-young in this work, marking his first dual role. Choi Sung-eun plays Song Ha-kyung, the daughter of Do-ha's father's friend and a public servant in the architecture field.

The direction is handled by director Min Yeon-hong, who produced 〈Royal Loader〉, 〈Missing: They Were There〉 series, and 〈Insider〉. The script is written by writer Jeon Yu-ri, who penned 〈Kiss Six Sense〉 and 〈Radio Romance〉.

The production team urged, "Please pay attention not only to the romance of the two protagonists but also to the unique theme of architecture and the various narratives of the surrounding characters."
