The comedy action movie 〈Boss〉, which deals with the story of the sudden vacancy of the leader position of the once-thriving organization 'Sikgupa', is set to be released during the Chuseok holiday.
At the production report held on the 1st at Megabox Seongsu in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, actor Jo Woo-jin introduced the work as "a rich movie like a feast laid out on the Chuseok table, where the characters have a grand celebration."
Directed by Ra Hee-chan, this work comically depicts the situation where influential members of the organization take turns yielding the boss position. Jo Woo-jin plays the role of Soon-tae, the second-in-command of the organization and a Chinese chef, portraying a character with ambitions to grow the Chinese restaurant 'Mimiru'.
Jo Woo-jin stated, "For the action scenes, I referenced a lot of Jackie Chan movies," and added, "It's an action that is both comedic and impactful, and I worked hard to provide various fun experiences." He mentioned that he received basic training from actual Chinese chefs, Yeogyeong-rae and Park Eun-young.

Jung Kyung-ho played the role of Kang-pyo, who, after finishing his prison life, becomes infatuated with tango and is emotionally detached from the organization. He practiced tango continuously for 3-4 months to portray a character who dedicates his life to dance, stating, "Tango is an incredibly mysterious and charming dance."
Jung Kyung-ho also mentioned that he received help from his girlfriend, Sooyoung of Girls' Generation. He said, "Although tango is somewhat different from typical choreography, I received help by filming my dance videos and sending them for feedback."
He revealed that upon hearing the news that Jo Woo-jin, Park Ji-hwan, and Lee Kyu-hyung would be participating in the project, he expressed his intention to join even before reading the script. He reflected, "I was happy to be with them, and the filming was satisfying," noting that the cheerful filming atmosphere naturally aligned the charm of the comedy and the actors' action chemistry.

Lee Kyu-hyung, who plays the role of Tae-kyu, a police officer who has been undercover in the organization for 10 years, confidently explained, "I prepared this as a comedy movie suitable for watching during Chuseok." Regarding his role, he stated, "It's an undercover police role that follows the lineage of the movies 〈Infernal Affairs〉 (2003), 〈The Departed〉 (2006), and 〈New World〉 (2013)," adding, "The action is depicted very boldly and interestingly."
Park Ji-hwan, who plays the role of Pan-ho, who desperately wants to become the boss of the organization but lacks the capability, described it as "a rough story, but the relationships between the characters are drawn in a cute and lovely way," stating, "It's a work that you can watch with your family during the Chuseok holiday and laugh out loud."
Jo Woo-jin also expressed that the chemistry of the four actors is like the 40s version of the boy group 'Saja Boys' from the movie 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉. The movie is scheduled to be released next month during the Chuseok holiday.
