Jeon Somi Makes Hollywood Debut.. Appearing in the Movie 'Perfect Girl' with Aden Jo from 'K-Pop Demon Hunters'

Singer Jeon Somi is making her debut as a Hollywood actress.

On the 3rd (local time), Deadline reported that Jeon Somi will appear in the horror thriller movie 〈Perfect Girl〉. Jeon Somi will act alongside Aden Jo, who has been cast as the voice of Lumi in 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉.

The movie 〈Perfect Girl〉 is being produced in Hollywood and directed by music video director and filmmaker Hong Won-ki. The screenplay is based on the script by Lin Q. Yu, which is on the 'Black List' (a list of interesting scripts that have not yet been made into films in Hollywood), and tells the story centered around a rookie K-pop girl group about to debut. The film depicts the fierce competition among trainees for just 4 member spots, with a talented and mysterious figure appearing at the last moment to shake up the entire situation.

The film's producer Scott Strauss expressed, "I am very pleased that Jeon Somi is making her acting debut in this film. Her unique energy and chemistry with Aden Jo and Adeline Rudolph will deepen the film's tension and drama." He also added, "We will show the genuine K-pop culture and Korean culture together with director Hong Won-ki."
